Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A name or place entered into a search tool is sent directly to the outside provider that operates that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its results. Schleicher County Criminal History does not retain or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email sent to us may be kept so a response can be prepared. The message remains within the organization unless disclosure is required by a valid legal obligation.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a page loads, the site's systems may automatically receive standard technical details about the visit:

No Criminal-Record Data on File
Schleicher County Criminal History does not keep, compile, or sell a database of personal criminal records. It publishes general directions to sources such as the Schleicher County Sheriff's Office, the combined County and District Clerk, the Texas Department of Public Safety Crime Records Division, and the Texas Public Sex Offender Registry. DPS criminal history dissemination is governed in part by Texas Government Code chapter 411, while requests to county agencies may fall under the Texas Public Information Act, Government Code chapter 552. This site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor data is not turned into consumer reports or third-party criminal record files.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes shown on this site. A query submitted through one of those boxes is handled under that company's privacy policy. Each partner chooses its retention and sharing practices, which are outside our control. Read the applicable partner policy before entering a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to the Schleicher County website, Texas court and agency systems, legal-aid resources, or outside search services. Once a visitor follows a link away from this site, the destination's policy applies. Review it before providing personal information.
Some advertising providers may use their own systems to observe activity across websites and select ads. Their tracking does not occur on systems controlled by Schleicher County Criminal History.
